Producer and curator of cultural events and exhibitions. Previously associated with the National Museum in Kraków, the Photomonth Festival and Unsound Festival as a coordinator of contemporary art exhibitions. Program curator of the Kraków art fair Nówka Sztuka. Finalist of the national competition for an exhibition in the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (OWN project, by artists Ola Kot and Wiesław Bartkowski).

Doctor of Political Science (Jagiellonian University), having defended her dissertation American-Mexican Cooperation in Combating Human Trafficking at the Turn of the 21st Century in 2011. Graduate of International Relations at the Jagiellonian University and Contemporary Art at KEN University. Currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid.

Lecturer and researcher in Latin American studies — affiliated with the Jagiellonian University, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Georgetown University, and El Colegio de México. She also lectures at Universidad Nebrija in Madrid. Scholarship holder of the Kościuszko Foundation and the Tokyo Foundation.

In her curatorial practice and research, she focuses on the materiality of contemporary art and its influence on the creative process and the construction of new meanings that go beyond established normative and symbolic frameworks. She is also interested in the circulation and reception of art from the peripheries of the art world, and in new constructions of otherness in visual discourse. She examines contemporary artistic practices in Latin America and the links between craft and contemporary art.

Postdocumentalist

Postdocumentalist — because documentation alone is no longer enough. This page was born out of the need to register, map, and archive art history as it unfolds. I describe and publicize artistic phenomena and shifts within the Latin American art scene — both within its institutional frameworks and beyond the official circuits of creative production.
